WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE MENTORING PROGRAM
Dive into the heart of our Mentoring Program by reading our insightful
"Letters to the Mentees" or "Letters to the Mentors".
Gain a deeper understanding if the program is for you as a mentee or the impact you can make as a mentor.
MENTEES: You have read the information letter and meet the criteria. When registering, remember to click on the “SOA Mentoring Program” or use the access code provided. The more details you include, the better we can get to know you. Don’t forget to upload your recommendation letter as well.
MENTORS: Interested? Fantastic! Share your interest in becoming a mentor by sending a short email along with your CV to info@sheskillzglobal.com. Don't forget to tell us why mentoring matters to you and to ckeck out the mentoring agreement and check out the Ethic document.
MENTEES: After completing your profile, those selected for the next round will be invited to an online interview. If you're not selected for the next round(s), you'll still have the option to maintain your profile and apply for a place in the SheSkillz Global open program. You'll receive an informational letter outlining the next steps if you're interested.
MENTORS: Start filling out your profile and It’s important that you give good information about why you want to be a mentor and also, when choosing between the different mentoring topics/areas you give some information so its easy for the mentee and get to learn something about you and your experiences/competence.
Once accepted as a mentee or a mentor, you will be matched on the platform with one mentor from SheSkillz Global and one from the Swiss sports network. Together with your mentors, you will agree on the timing of your first out of four sessions using the video conferencing tool of your choice. Following each session, you will complete a brief online form called 'session minutes,' thoughtfully provided by us. This form allows your mentors to offer feedback and serves as a valuable document to guide your subsequent sessions. If you have any queries along the way, feel free to reach out to us at info@sheskillzglobal.com.

Mentoring is voluntary, and mentors are not paid. If you are accepted as a mentee, we kindly ask that you respect your appointments with your mentor.
How much time does it take? You commit to having at least four (4) sessions with your mentor, each lasting 45-60 minutes. In addition, there is a webinar every second month, and to work in task groups on specific topics, the task groups decide when to talk/meet. You can read more about this in the information letter.

The World Economic Forum has reported that achieving gender equality will take more than 130 years, and Swiss sports are no exception. The statistics regarding the number of women in various positions in Swiss sports are clear.
The program is designed to promote gender equality in the professional sports world. While focusing on women, we firmly believe in a world where «leadership knows no gender» boundaries. We are dedicated to empowering female professionals in Swiss sports by connecting them with opportunities and mentors. As we move toward achieving our program’s vision, “Leadership has no gender,” we plan to open the program to all genders who share our goal of promoting gender equality in the workplace—This once we have a more gender-balanced leadership in Swiss sports at all levels and positions. Until then, we ask for your understanding as we focus on women. The reason for choosing only female mentors for this program is to build a more robust female network; this is also why we have partnered with Sportif, the female network for Women in Sport in Switzerland.
The program is free if you are accepted as a mentee by Swiss Olympics. Swiss Olympics covers the cost.
Inform one of us on the Project Management team—Karin, Luana, or Guro—and we will look into it.
